Born into a family of two professional musicians, Morgan Little started playing the cello at 6 years old. He graduated from high school at the Los Angeles County High School of the Arts, where he was principal cello for three years. Morgan was accepted into the Manhattan School of Music in the fall of 2011 as a student of Alan Stepansky and completed his freshman year at the conservatory. He currently is a student of Stephen Balderston at DePaul University. Other teachers include Richard Naill, Neil Carey, Yehuda Hanani, and Andrew Cook. Morgan has attended summer festivals such as Bowdowin, Eastern Music Festival, Marrowstone Music Festival, Baroque performance institute, and other smaller intensives with specific teachers. Morgan has also freelanced in the Los Angeles area and has worked with Orchestra Santa Monica, Westwood United Methodist Church, Pasadena Presbyterian Church and various other small ensembles. Currently Morgan little is teaching cello at Lane technical high school and taking part in school ensembles such as Depaul symphony orchestra and Depaul baroque ensemble.
